Located just east of Strathcona in the Grandview-Woodland neighbourhood, the station is on top of a flat roofed warehouse typical to the area. A primary industrial zone of low-rise buildings on flat terrain. There is a long rising slope to the east. Some parts of the neighbourhood are sheltered by trees, and a nearby park provides the area climate some relief. Three camera's provide a 360° view of the sky from this one site. Downtown is visible as well as the Port of Vancouver, parts of East Van, and the North Shore mountains from Grouse Mtn east to Deep Cove.
